Junction 16 is the western turn for Northampton, about five miles east along the A45, and for Daventry on the A45. Upper Heyford, Nether Heyford and Harpole are the villages beside it. The Althorp Estate is about three and a half miles north. The cinch Stadium at Franklin's Gardens is about four miles east.
