Junction 34 at Tinsley is the turn for Meadowhall shopping centre and Sheffield, on the A6178 and the A631. Here the M1 crosses the Don valley on the two-deck Tinsley Viaduct. Tinsley, Brightside and Templeborough are the districts around it, and Rotherham is a little over two miles north-east. Expect queues on shopping days as well as at rush hour.
