M1 Junction 47: Parlington (A642, A656)

Junction 47 at Parlington links the M1 to the A642 and the A656, for Garforth, about a mile and a half south-west, and Castleford. Lotherton Hall is about two miles north-east. Micklefield station is about two miles south-east. The M1 ends a little further north, where it joins the A1(M).

Garforth, Castleford and the villages north of Leeds use this junction, and drivers heading on to the A1(M) pass it too. Check here before you set off.
