Junction 41 at Carrgate links the M1 to the A650 for Wakefield and Bradford, near Morley. East Ardsley, Kirkhamgate and Thorpe-on-the-Hill are the nearest places. The White Rose Shopping Centre is about three and a half miles north-west. Junction 42, for the M62, is about a mile and a half north.
