Map of M1 Junctions 19 to 24A: Leicester and the East Midlands

Between Catthorpe and East Midlands Airport the M1 passes Lutterworth and Magna Park, skirts the west of Leicester at Fosse Park, meets the M69 at junction 21, and runs on past Coalville and Loughborough to the airport and the new logistics park at Kegworth.

Shoppers, students heading for Loughborough, airport staff and passengers, and the many people who work in the warehouses along this stretch all use it. The map shows how close the motorway runs to Leicester and to Charnwood Forest.

The road on the map is coloured by the live traffic flow speed, the same data as our live M1 traffic flow map. Choose northbound or southbound above the map. Tap any junction number to open that junction’s own page.

Showing live speeds northbound. The map shows one direction at a time; tap the other button to switch. For both directions side by side, with every sign and incident, see the live M1 speed flow map.
